A Surrey school has etched their name into the roll of honour for the first time with victory in the LTA’s Team Tennis National U18 Girls Championships.
Surbiton High School produced a stunning performance at Nottingham Tennis Centre to take away the prestigious Aberdare Cup.
After seeing off Newstead Wood School 12-0 in the last 16, Surbiton defeated previous winners Talbot Heath School 10-2 in the quarter finals and Queenswood School 10-2 in the last four.
